How is TurboHome different from a traditional buyer’s agent?
TurboHome’s salaried agents do everything a traditional buyer’s agent does for a low flat fee. If you find the property on Zillow or Redfin, you shouldn’t have to pay a 3% commission.
How is this possible?
TurboHome has a team of salaried in-house agents who are 100% aligned with getting you the best deal possible. Thanks to advances in AI technology, we can do this more efficiently than traditional brokers.
Who is my point of contact?
TurboHome will match you with a fully licensed buyer’s agent with whom you can communicate via text, call, or email, just like you would with a regular agent. The first step of our process is a Zoom call with your agent to walk you through the process and answer any questions you have.

What parts of the homebuying process can TurboHome help with?
TurboHome agents do everything a traditional buyer’s agent does except sourcing properties on your behalf. Our agents leverage our best-in-class technology to write offers, analyze comps, and review disclosures for a fraction of the cost of a traditional buyer’s agent. Once your offer is selected by the seller, we manage the entire closing process until you get the keys.
How does TurboHome's rate buy-down work?
When you purchase a home where the seller is offering to pay for the buyer agent's commission, TurboHome subtracts it's flat-fee and puts the remainder amount towards discount points on your mortgage. This decreases your interest rate for the lifetime of your loan, translating to a lower monthly payment.
How does TurboHome’s cash back work?
If the seller offers to pay for the buyer’s agent commission, we let you decide how you want to allocate any amount of the commission offered after our flat fee of $8,000. You can either take cash back, increase your offer price, or have us offer a referral to the listing agent.
Does the launch of TurboHome have anything to do with the recent National Association of Realtors settlement?
TurboHome utilizes technology that predates the NAR ruling. However, the ruling makes TurboHome an even more useful tool for buyers, now that they may have to pay for their own commission.
Does TurboHome work for investors?
Absolutely! TurboHome’s is designed with investors in mind to make it easy to make offers quickly for a low flat fee.
Is TurboHome a licensed broker?
Yes, TurboHome operates as a fully licensed real estate broker in California (DRE #02005216) and Texas (TREC #744106).
Do I have to work with TurboHome exclusively?
No, TurboHome does not require you to sign an exclusive buyer’s agent representation form. We represent you for all offers initiated through the TurboHome platform. This means that if another agent finds you a home and manages the transaction, you don’t owe us a dime.
How do home showings work?
Open houses offer a great opportunity to experience a home firsthand for free. If you prefer a private showing, TurboHome has a partner network of licensed agents who can show you the home at your convenience. TurboHome includes 15 private tours at no cost. The fee per private showing, beyond that, is $50-125 depending on region.
How does the valuation analysis work?
TurboHome agents leverage our proprietary AI pricing algorithm to generate your valuation analysis. It utilizes dozens of data sources, including comparable home sales and listing-specific data points, to determine a unique estimated value to help you win without overpaying.
How does the disclosure analysis work?
TurboHome agents use our technology to create a detailed analysis of hundreds of pages of home disclosures so that you’re aware of all key issues ahead of time. Your agent is available to review the report with you on a zoom or phone call at your convenience. If you want to order an additional 3rd party inspection, we can help with that too.
